Location: Picnic at Piedmont Park, specifically near the Picnic Bandstand. Here is a map of the park itself- the pinic area is number 4. Then a walk though the Atlanta Botanical Gardens afterwards.

Why weather permitting? Seriously, if you live here, you know why.. the weather this month has been rather schitzophrenic, so this'll be my call for the meetup: if it downpours, consider the meetup canceled. If it rains a bit then clears up, then we will still be on. Last time it did rain before we got there, but all in all it wasn't too bad. We chased a chicken and talked to homeless people in the park. If, by some miracle, it's dry and sunny, I'll rejoice and be the happiest emiko of all. Your best bet is to check here before leaving, since this is the place I'll be posting any cancellations.

We'll also be metting up at the same place we did last time- the Picnic Bandstand (though we didn't actually eat there- that's another story). That way, if the ground is wet from rain, we can eat in the covered area, and if it's dry, we can eat near the lake or under the dogwood trees nearby :)

Afterwards, we can trek to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. You can either walk there from Piedmont, or you can drive up there.

This is an open event, and as such, anyone can join us- so if you're friends dont want to dress up, they can still come :) My photographer will also be there to take pretty pictures of everyone.
